About Us
Updated October 4, 2026
This is ceirgovmm.online, an independent information guide about Myanmar's CEIR system — not the official portal and not affiliated with the government in any way. The official CEIR system lives at ceir.gov.mm.
What we do
We publish plain-language guides about the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR): how to check your IMEI status, what registration results mean, and how the tax and duty side of the system works. We can't register phones, check IMEIs on your behalf, take payments, or resolve issues with your device — only the official portal and the official call centres can do that.
Why this site exists
The CEIR system affects every phone owner in Myanmar, but the official announcements aren't always easy to parse. We try to explain the practical side — what the whitelist means, what to do if your IMEI shows as non-compliant, how to avoid scams — in simple words. See our homepage guide for the full walkthrough.
What we never do
- We never ask for your IMEI, personal details, or payment.
- We never claim to be the government or an official service.
- We never link to unofficial "CEIR apps" or APK downloads — our download page explains why.
